The wagon
Climb aboard a reconstructed wagon evoking the “ grand old lady ” where so many worked and toiled : the great dispatching hall, also known as the Eiffel Station.
During the golden years, annual output of Byrrh was in excess of 30 million litres and they were supplying 350,000 customers, wholesalers and retailers worldwide.
Continuing your visit, you can also admire some original posters from 1903 exhibited for the first time in Thuir. These works were produced for a poster competition launched by Lambert Violet in Le Monde illustré on February 28, 1903 on the theme of "BYRRH, tonic, hygienic, based on generous wine and cinchona". This competition attracted approximately 1,900 participants.
